Day 1 - Ran 3.5 files @ Avg Speed of 4.5
Started the day at
5. I am thankful to God that I am an early morning person. I don't mind
getting up early, as long as I sleep on time. Did some stretching and
started on treadmill at 5:45. Quickly went to 5.5 miles an hour but
soon got tired with the slight inclination. Thats the problem with
treadmill, its difficult to control and guide yourself through. I am
soon going to start running on a trail nearby. Though its a small drive
in the morning but much better as compared to gym. In gym, I sweat a
lot. If its morning then I am much better outside. Burnt around 445
calories and ran on an avg incline of 1.7.
Then I had a session with the the trainer. I worked on my legs and abs. Heavy stuff though. I think its good to do some weight training also, so that the strength is built over time. I have to assess myself as I go along on Marathon training and see if I can cope up with the gym stress with running. I will quit gym sessions and concentrate on my marathon training. Because this is my number 1 priority.
